Peeyush Shrivastava

Peeyush has over 12 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur and technologist. He is currently a Principal at The O.H.I.O. Fund where he uses his operator experience to help identify and invest in Ohio's most promising companies and projects. Prior to joining The O.H.I.O. Fund, Peeyush was the Co-Founder and CEO of Genetesis, a medical device startup where he raised over $42 million and led the company from inception (2013) to M&A (2025). Prior to Genetesis, Peeyush was a part of the founding team of Proscia, the now world-leader in digital pathology which has gone on to raise over $130 million and has partnered with leading pharma companies and labs in the fight against cancer. Peeyush earned his B.S. in Biomedical Science from The Ohio State University, and is an avid runner and cyclist.
